Homicide detectives in San Bernardino County are investigating the death of a 33-year-old woman found with apparent injuries in her home earlier this week, officials announced Wednesday.
Officers with the Upland Police Department responded to an apartment in the 2000 block of West Arrow Route at around 8:20 p.m. after receiving a call from a concerned party.
"The reporting party called and said a 33-year-old female did not show up for work and that they were unable to get a hold of her," UPD said in a post to social media.
Responding officers located the residence and through a window saw the unidentified and unresponsive victim suffering from visible injuries.
Officers entered the apartment to render aid, but the female was pronounced dead at the scene," police added.
Authorities said that the investigation into the woman's death is ongoing and that no further details were available at this time.
