Travis Hunter's Adidas Deal Brings Trayvis Into the Spotlight

When Colorado Buffaloes star Travis Hunter inked a multi-year, $3.2 million NIL partnership with Adidas, he didn't just secure a personal milestone-he brought his younger brother, Trayvis, along for the ride. The decision wasn't just about brand alignment; it was a declaration of family loyalty. As Travis told his brother upon welcoming him to the deal: "Welcome to the Adidas family."

Family Comes First

Travis made it clear he wasn't signing with a company that wouldn't include his family. "I ain't signing nothing that ain't got no family involved," he explained in a recent video. Adidas understood the assignment. The inclusion of Trayvis, a 15-year-old standout wide receiver at Effingham County High School in Georgia, was the tipping point. Trayvis has already demonstrated his own star potential, with 496 receiving yards and six touchdowns last season. For Travis, the deal was as much about giving his brother a platform as it was about building his own legacy.

A Strategic Power Play

Adidas, known for bold moves in the NIL space, solidified its position by signing both Hunter brothers. This partnership is a calculated play to secure long-term relevance in the competitive college sports market. Travis, a two-way phenom with Heisman aspirations, adds unmatched visibility to their roster. By including Trayvis, they've bet on the future as well as the present.
