Channing Tatum Reveals 6-Figure Sum Spent Fighting Jenna Dewan in Divorce
Chloe Lattanzi says she first felt the presence of her late mom, Olivia Newton-John, a week after the beloved Grease actress died of breast cancer at the age of 73 in August 2022. "She appeared to me as this bright blue orb. It's the color of the necklace she was wearing when she passed," says Chloe, 38. "I never feel alone. She's always with me." Here, the musician (her dad is Olivia's ex-husband, Matt Lattanzi) talks to In Touch's Diana Cooper about keeping her mom's legacy alive, her marriage to her martial arts trainer husband James Driskill, and feeling the love from her mom's longtime friend John Travolta.
CL: I've just started to feel again. Grief is a unique process. We all experience it differently. I'm only now just really feeling it like she's not coming back.
CL: The other night I was really, really missing her, and one of her favorite things is a symbol of the female matriarchs, the owl. I was sitting and just crying and calling out her name, and this owl landed on the chair right next to me and sat with me for about 20 minutes.
CL: I started laughing with joy. My mom always finds a way to let me know, "I'm here. I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to guide you, and you're safe."
CL: I absolutely would ... but she does a really good job communicating to me without any-body else. I'm really into the paranormal. Whenever I need her, she appears as an orb or introduces me to a person who will give me the answer or the peace I need.
CL: When someone goes through cancer and they're the love of your life, there's a lot of pain and trauma. I needed to grieve and take time off. I'm doing much better. My memory is getting better, and I'm going to therapy every day and becoming a strong, capable woman.
CL: This is my job for the rest of my life -- to make sure the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre stays open and keeps evolving. It was really, really great this year. There was so much joy.
CL: My mom understood that mental illness was just as serious as physical. My song was a promise to her that I was going to love myself, remember my worth and shine as bright as I can. To rise from the ashes and own my power.
CL: Fifteen years, and we'll be together until the day we die. My mom married us on the beach in the Bahamas in 2016. It was the most exquisite, beautiful day of my life, especially because it was my mom who sealed the bond.
CL: He's always been there. He's just a beautiful man. He and [his daughter] Ella are gorgeous people who I know would be there for me if I was ever in trouble. I am surrounded by really good, loving, caring people.
