In New York City, the iconic Times Square New Year's Eve numbers arrived on Wednesday.

WalletHub, a personal finance company, created a ranking of the best New Year's Eve destinations in the United States. It analyzed the 100 biggest cities using three factors: entertainment and food, cost, and safety and accessibility.

Las Vegas ranked in the top five while Reno ranked in the top 20. Henderson and North Las Vegas made the top 100 list.

Las Vegas was the only city to make the top 10 on WalletHub's 100 best New Years Eve destinations but three other Nevada cities were named in the ranking. Reno was ranked No. 16, Henderson No. 58 and North Las Vegas received the No. 90 title.
